The small chateau owned by the Cheval Quancard family is located near the village of Cissac on a small plateau, the bottom of which is gravel. This is also where the valuable grapes for this classic Bordeaux grow, which ripens for 15 months in wooden barrels before being bottled and later sold. Several times already wines of this good were considered in international competitions with high honours.
